About Annapurna Base Camp trek via Poonhill
Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is one of the most stunning trekking holiday regions in the world. The trek surprises you with its exotic beauty on each footstep! The trek commences from Kathmandu, from where we drive to Pokhara. Annapurna Base Camp trek begins at the river bank of the Modi River and with continually changing scenery as you climb the uphill. The landscapes keep transforming from the river bank to the thick forest and lush green paddy fields.
As the trail progresses, we will be spending a night in Ghorepani; and follow a morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m). Poon Hill is especially renowned for great panoramic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt. Fishtail (6998m), Annapurna ranges, Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and Tukuche peak (6920m). Next up, we follow our trek to the beautiful Annapurna ranges again and on to Tadapani .
